Welcome Volunteers !  
 
Thank you for your interest in the Habitat for Humanity program. As a non-profit organization we rely almost entirely on volunteer efforts to work in partnership with God's people in need to build simple, decent housing. We always welcome volunteers of any skill level, and what you do not know we will teach you.
 
Volunteer to one of our committee's or volunteer your group to help with a build
  • Committee Volunteers: There are eight committees that are in need of new faces and fresh ideas. Check the Committee Schedule for meeting information.
  • Group Volunteers: If your group would like to help with a Habitat build, click the button bellow for some general guidelines.
 
Opportunities
Construction Volunteers:  We are presently working on a variety of construction projects. Currently, we work each Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. All working days are weather permitting. Call 477-9184 for work site information.
 

What to expect on the job site
  • Please arrive at 8:30 a.m. and sign in on the site log. We will work until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, or until weather and materials permit.
  • Volunteers need to report to the site supervisor when they arrive. The supervisor can assign tasks or pair you with someone for training.
  • Prepare for exposure to the weather. Have sun protection and dress appropriately.
  • Wear clothes that can get dirty and stained.
  • Wear shoes or boots with thick soles.
  • Lunch or a snack will be provided.
  • Please bring your own drinking water.
  • Restroom facilities are provided on sites.

What to bring

  • children 15 years old and younger

The volunteer registration form is used to inventory your areas of interest and expertise. Please complete this form, print and return it to our office. Construction volunteers are not called in advance--just come to the site and sign in.
